It’s no secret that our owner and head chef Kieren Steinborn-Busse is very good at cooking! From deliciously rich sauces to light fluffy pastries, guests at The Falcon are often left longing to learn the secrets of his kitchen which, until now, have been kept a mystery. Whether you are a beginner looking for inspiration or a professional wanting to develop your skills, Kieren will deliver hands on, tailor made classes to suit everyone.

Meet The Chef

has had 30 years experience working in professional kitchens and has been taught by some of the best chefs in the business including Marco Pierre White and Alain Ducasse before going on to hold a Michelin star for four years as head chef at Thackeray’s, Tunbridge Wells. With TV appearances on Masterchef and Food Network under his belt, Kieren also held roles as executive chef of Vinoteca and executive head chef at the Swan at Shakespeare’s Globe in London. Kieren opened The Falcon in 2019 and would now like to share his passion for food by opening his kitchen to teach others the art he loves.

Discover Our Classes

We currently offer options for small groups or as private sessions that run on a Monday and Tuesday from 10am with the last session starting at 5.30pm. Your session menu will be decided by you and Kieren on application with the option for groups to eat in our beautiful grade II listed restaurant after your class. Gift vouchers are also available and make the perfect gift
